The new 84,590 sq. ft. Moline High School PE facility will provide students a centralized location to further their education for life-long health and well-being, which provides an array of opportunities to explore athletics in a safe and secure environment. The project included a new 4,000 sq. ft. wrestling room, athletic training room, state-of-the-art weight room and equipment, four multi-purpose courts, and a six-lane track. In addition, renovated locker rooms, bathrooms, and a new commons area for students to gather. The multi-purpose courts will allow for students to participate in a variety of activities such as basketball, volleyball, badminton and pickleball for their Physical Education activities. Our teams provided the pre-engineered metal building to the west of the existing gymnasium along with new electrical panels, LED lighting, an addressable fire alarm system, low voltage cabling and a paging system were also installed throughout the new addition and renovated space. During construction, our teams worked together with the other trades to provide a project schedule defining the design, procurement, and construction of the project, along with a detailed execution plan.
