At 104-12 W. 2nd Street in downtown Davenport sits Parker, Putnam and Center Building. These Daniel Burnham-designed buildings’ were renamed “City Square,” and the project was completed in 2 phases. In phase I, the Parker Building, the first and a portion of the second floor was been renovated to house Wells Fargo, while Class A offices will operate out of floors 2-5. The top two floors include 20 luxury apartments that feature all-inclusive rent, granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, and washer/dryers in every unit. Phase II included work in Putnam and Center Building. Putnam features a street level restaurant, lounge and bar with 66 hotel rooms on floor 2-6 and 14 apartments will be on the 7th and 8th floors, featuring all-inclusive rent, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, washers/dryers in every unit and residents will enjoy the use of some of the hotel’s amenities and services which now is called The Current Iowa. The Center Building connected with Parker and Putnam and will be home to downtown Davenport’s only grocery store, a fitness center, and meeting rooms with 12 luxury 1 and 2-bedroom suites on the second floor.
